ELLEN LEWIS Ellen wrote Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday, which received a finalist nod in the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival One-Act Play Contest in 2003. The first act of her full-length play Between Dog and Wolf was given a staged reading by Moving Arts in 2002. She earned her Masters Degree in Professional Writing at the University of Southern California. Before coming to Los Angeles, Ellen acted in the fact-based drama Kuka at Willamette University in Oregon. Unrelenting Dreams, a long one-act which she co-wrote, was produced by the theater department at Western Oregon State College. Ellen is currently assistant directing American Jack, which is part of Moving Arts' 2003 One-Act Festival, working on Between Dog and Wolf and a collection of one-acts, trying to finish her first novel and trying to sell her first screenplay. |
